We're thrilled to be working with kids photographer Richard Gatmaitan for an outdoor photoshoot on September 29. The star of the photoshoot will win a Laila & Lyra outfit and an autumn-inspired portrait session.

Welcome to our new #fridayfive installment of mom-and-baby duos, sibs and little bffs in matching Laila & Lyra!
Read on if you're ready for the good vibes! Just a little heads up- it's coming in double dozes.
What better way to start this round up than with this stylish sister act. Sibs Sheikha and Baby J are both looking all set to "Queen Bee" for the weekend. They have more twinning looks on their Instagram grid but this look paired with our Lana skirt in gingham is definitely worthy of a double take, don't you think?
We'd like to nominate these fab sisters for Co-Presidents of the "Coordinating Committee." Megan and Fione stepped out in their coordinated looks making a case for coordinating instead of twinning. The matching-but-not-totally-twinning looks featuring our Brogen shirt dress, Havana top and Mya dress used as a top and dress is something we can definitely get behind.
Because what better way to show the world that you guys are BFFs of the highest order than to go twinning right? The twinning game is strong with these two but what we love most about their snaps is that these two young besties look like they are just having the best time wearing matching Laila & Lyra. Zia and Margaux are wearing Willow, Milly and Lexi dresses.
Fashionably-synced duo Clarisse and Elle took on Bali in their matching Laila and Lyra Lina outfits and filled our feed with major vacay vibes through these pictures. Elle has a lot of amazing vacay pics of her own but nothing makes us more glad than to have been part of this gorgeous mom and baby ootd and more importantly, of these two's globetrotting journey.
Also getting in on the doubled-up fashion love is mommy and daughter April & Amber. The sartorial challenge in twinning with a mini-counterpart is bridging the gap between what would look great and age-appropriate for both the mommy and baby and these two just nail the game each time proving that with the right choices, duos that twin, win.

How much do we love thee? Let us count the ways with the help of our new Darling in Darla round up. ;)
It's always a hard task narrowing down a shortlist for our #fridayfive series but this edition is one of hardest "friday five picking" we had to tackle because there are just many awesome snaps to choose from. Big thanks to all of you for sharing the love for this dress with us! We've gone through different versions and iterations since the very first one that we released in 2016 but it has stood the test of time. All exaggerations aside, there's just no getting used to the excitement we feel every time we see a new Darla dress. It always feels like we're being introduced to it for the first time because every time we think this dress couldn't get any more prettier- it just does. How is that even possible?
We don't really have the foolproof answer but we can tell you that we always stand on the classic, less-is-more end of the spectrum when it comes to this favorite. It's pretty much a cycle of picking the finest floral prints there is, being tempted of going into the froufrou route, flirting with the idea of making it a little bit more "extra", only to be ultimately won over by that constant voice in our ahead telling us to stick to the same restraint, timeless design we've been doing for a couple of years now. And every time we lay our eyes on a new prototype for the first time, we say a little thank you to that voice. It's a perfect study on restraint that gives us an understated beauty that we just fall in love with over and over again.

Blue is not often the first color that comes to mind when we think of florals but Phynley in this Darla version is definitely making a case for floral prints in darker hues. She is looking every bit of a little royal in these captures by mommy Roma of Mhyian's Photo don't you think?

We always have our eye on this little missy's photos and this set with Darla dress captured by Richard Gatmaitan is definitely one of our favorites. We can tell that we're not the only ones smitten because our Instagram notification practically blew up when we shared these captures a few moons ago.

Ysabella goes for a bit more drama with her matching headpiece and we're definitely taking notes from this little miss when it comes to doing a floral combo. We love us flower crowns that knows their place- to compliment the dress and not steal the spotlight from your little one's face. Minimalism goes out of the window once you've decided to pair a floral headpiece with a floral dress but we can always give a little room for restraint right? A thank you is definitely in order for this little one's stylist (aka her mommy) for the free lecture on florals-on-florals done right complete with such an adorable visual aid.

We know what you're thinking - where was this dress when you needed it for Easter? We definitely agree that this would made a lovely easter dress but alas, it was a little too late to the Easter party. So when this capture of Gianna with her furry friend found its way to our inbox we may have let out a little squeal of delight. If we may be permitted to borrow the words of Darla from Little Rascals, whose very character inspired the name of this dress, this capture "makes us melt like a popsicle in the 4th of July." It perfectly encapsulates everything we love about our Darla dress- even when it's devoid of any blings or matching accessories, it makes what is already a beautiful, priceless moment even more beautiful. Much like the names of these three sisters, our heart is definitely bursting with Joy, Faith and Love.
Wearing our Solana dress, our first featured girl is Vielle. This dress in sunflower prints makes the perfect match for her bright smile. What makes this pic stand out is her well-coordinated look with accessories like a sunflower handbag and a flower headband.
What a showstopper! On this pic, Athalia is wearing our Lana tropical print skirt. Her pink bow, frilly top, and pink bag make it a great ensemble for a tropical girly look.

Who loves mother and daughter outfits? We do! Our next featured pic is Mayree and PM. In our mother and daughter Catalina dress, they are set to make heads turn. This duo looks ready to stop traffic in their matchy-matchy outfit, partnered with matching bags and a bow for PM.
We couldn't get more sunshine without more sunflower prints! In our Eleo sunflower print coordinates, Vee is looking cute and cuddly. This pajama-inspired coords stand out with her cute headband and an even more cute smile.
Summer is not over for Anika! Here is another take on our Solana dress. Solana dress is a crowd favorite and a certified best seller because of its bright sunflower prints but Anika made it even more "sunshiny" by pairing it with a summer hat and strappy sandals.

There's a a number of great way to spend Easter but everybunny would agree that there's no better way than spending it with friends. We absolutely adore that captured squeal of delight and that these little darlings looked like they are celebrating the arrival of an imaginary spring.

Well, isn’t this set precious! One look at our Willow dress and we immediately think of summer holidays and sandy beach backdrops but here comes Charlie proving that this number is every inch a play-park head turner too. More than anything else though, we love the sense of whimsy and fun that the rainbow kite and Charlie’s glowing smile brought to these captures.

When the mall ground is your runway.
Just like our Willow dress, this pair of Febe jumpsuit brings with them a certain beachy joie de vivre but this denim dazzler is just as perfect for lounging poolside as for strolling at the mall. This snap of Chay right here is Exhibit A.

We’ve seen a lot of pretty awesome mommy and baby twinning snaps these past few weeks. Ruth & Nisha's entry takes the cake in serving high-key-ready-for-summer vibes.
Now, to answer a question you're probably asking yourself- did Laila & Lyra release Darcy dress in adult sizes? No, we didn't mommies. It's admittedly making us a wee bit jealous but mommy Ruth just happens to fit in our tween sizes. ;)

Her name suggests peacefulness and calmness. She's so achingly stylish in our Beach Bum playsuit though that we just can't keep calm. In fact, we kinda need a new word for 'rad' because this look is just way past that. :)
